Trail of Ten Falls loop
I’m getting my bearings on living in Oregon and trying to connect with other hikers. So I decided to join the Adventurous Young Mazamas on a hike at Silver Falls State Park.
The theme was: water.
It was raining and damp. The waterfalls were crazy. Some of them you could just walk right behind. Looking out at the park through a sheet of falling water was crazy! Although the park was dark and gloomy, there was a certain sense of wonder. Around every corner, another waterfall, another river view, another dramatic amphitheater.
I’m not sure how adventurous these young Mazamas are, however. I may have to keep hiking on my own.
